2026 Board Internship Program
2027 applications are now closed.
Centre Against Violence is excited to launch its inaugural Board Internship Program, creating new pathways for emerging leaders to gain practical governance experience while contributing to safer communities across the Ovens Murray region.
This 12-month program has been designed for people who are curious about leadership, governance and community impact. Board Interns will have the opportunity to attend Board and committee meetings, receive mentoring from experienced Board Directors, and develop a deeper understanding of organisational governance, strategy and decision-making in a supportive learning environment.
No previous board experience is required. We are seeking people with curiosity, commitment and a willingness to learn, and welcome applications from people of all backgrounds and experiences.
Applications are now open and will close 5pm on Monday 13th July.
