The Centre Against Violence (CAV) is expanding and eager to find more practitioners to join their teams. We currently have vacancies in a variety of roles located across Wangaratta and Wodonga to service the Ovens and Murray region.

 

“To put it simply, CAV, who is the major service provider of the family violence and sexual assault sector within our region, greatly and immanently needs more practitioners to assist our community to live their lives free from violence. If you have a degree in social work, psychology or community services; If you are a new graduate or have suitable experience working in similar fields, we want to hear from you!” Lucy Lee, acting CEO of the Centre Against Violence said.

 

“We have teams based in Wangaratta and Wodonga. Our current team are exceptional workers. They are diverse, inclusive and caring. Yet, their workloads are expanding every day and we need more workers on board to keep up with the demand.”

 

“The CAV team is passionate about supporting victims and survivors in both family violence and sexual assault. Everyone deserves to be safe.” Ms Lee said. Covering the Ovens & Murray region CAV provides crisis assistance, short term, medium term and long-term counselling. As well as Advocacy, information and support about family violence, sexual assault and harmful sexual behaviours.
